Sigma Systems to License ServiceBroker™,
Sigma's Mediation and Provisioning System to Cox Communications
Cox's Customers To Benefit From Advanced
Functionality
Toronto, February 15, 2000 -- Sigma Systems, a leading provider
of Billing and Operations Support Systems (OSSs) to global
telecommunications service providers, announced it has entered
into an agreement with Cox Communications Inc., for Cox to
license ServiceBroker™, Sigma's flagship product.

ServiceBroker™, is an OSS and middleware platform deployed by
telecom service providers. It supports flow-through service
provisioning, activation and mediation. Built on a scalable
order management system, the product manages workflow for the
provisioning of services ranging from local and long-distance to
data and internet services. ServiceBroker™ uses object-oriented
API-based interfaces to communicate with network elements,
billing and customer care systems, as well ILECs and other
service providers.
