Tim Spencer
President and Chief Operating Officer
Tim Spencer, co-founder of Sigma Systems, has over 20 years experience in telecommunications software design and development. As President and COO, he is responsible for leveraging the existing product and customer base while driving new growth strategies in the communications software market. In his previous role as Sigma's Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Spencer helped turn the company's early technology vision into reality and along the way transformed Sigma into the leading provider of OSS service management products and services. Prior to joining Sigma, Mr. Spencer held various senior positions with Bell Canada. He was Director of Software Engineering for advanced services at Bell Mobility, where he was responsible for the design and development of real-time OSS solutions such as message processing, service activation and fulfillment, inventory and network management. Mr. Spencer also led several international OSS consulting projects for Bell Canada International in Central and Latin America. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and software design from DeVry University.

Brian Cappellani
Chief Technology Officer and Vice-President of Engineering
As Chief Technology Officer, Brian Cappellani is responsible for the architectural and technology vision and deliverables for the company's award-winning Service Management Platform and Solutions Suites. Named one of the Top 25 most influential people in the BSS/OSS market by Billing World magazine, he is a 12-year veteran in telecommunications with an extensive background in designing, architecting, and building large-scale operations and billing support. Prior to joining Sigma Systems, Mr. Cappellani worked for Accenture in numerous roles of increasing responsibility, including senior-level architecture, engineering and development management positions, held both internally and with Accenture's telecommunications practice, focusing on the wireless and satellite industries. Mr. Cappellani also served as an Advisory Director to the TM Forum's Board of Directors. TM Forum is the world's leading trade association that provides leadership and guidance, technical and business innovation, and education and training to improve the way telecoms, media and information services are created, delivered, assured and charged. Mr. Cappellani holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario.

Jackie Berg
Vice-President and Managing Director of the Americas
As Vice President and Managing Director at Sigma Systems, Jackie Berg leads the company's sales and regional services delivery throughout the Americas region. Ms. Berg joined Sigma Systems in 2005 and has since forged many of the strong customer relationships that Sigma maintains today. Ms. Berg is responsible for sales and customer delivery in the Americas Region. In her previous role as Sigma's Vice President of Global Sales, Ms. Berg helped extend Sigma's relationship with existing customers by introducing new products and services, and expanded the customer footprint domestically and internationally. She has more than 25 years of experience in the telecom industry, having held various senior positions in marketing, professional services, product management, channels & alliances, sales, and sales management. Over the past 15 years she has worked at NewStep Networks, and Nortel with a focus on delivering software and hardware solutions for communications services providers. Ms. Berg holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from Queens University.

Richard Hubble
Vice-President and Managing Director, EMEA and APAC
Richard Hubble is responsible for Sigma's regional sales, account management, alliance partners and services business throughout the Europe, Middle East and Africa region and across the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Hubble recently re-joined Sigma Systems, having previously held the post of Managing Director for Europe back in 2002-3, when he was the company's first employee outside of North America. In the 10 years between 2003 and 2013 he held senior sales, international business development and general management positions with Hewlett-Packard, where he was focused on addressing the applications and technology transformation needs of communications service providers and cable operators across EMEA, Amdocs, where he was VP Sales EMEA for their OSS division, and Tatara Systems, where he was Managing Director EMEA. Richard is a seasoned telecoms professional with over 25 years' experience in successfully delivering business value to CSPs via Industry-leading BSS and OSS platforms and services.

Rick Mallon
Vice President, Marketing and Product Management
As Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at Sigma Systems, Mr. Mallon brings over 24 years experience in the IT and Telecom industries with corporations such as Pure Networks, TeleGea, Atreus Systems, Nortel and IBM. Mr. Mallon has spent the past 15 years working to develop business and operational support systems for advanced IP services including VoIP, WiMAX, IP VPNs, IP Video and high speed data access. He has experience in senior positions across product management, business development and strategic planning. Mr. Mallon has a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the University of Ottawa.

Martin Kadey
Vice President of Finance and Administration
As Vice President of Finance and Administration, Martin Kadey oversees all of Sigma's inbound and outbound contract management, human resources, facilities management, IT and administration. In addition, he serves as the company's Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining Sigma, Mr. Kadey spent two decades in the Canadian publishing industry, where he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as Vice President of Finance for Gage Learning Corporation. He is a Certified General Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto.

Pankaj Gogia
Vice President of Strategy
As Vice President of Strategy, Mr. Gogia is responsible for specific strategic initiatives within corporate development, operations, strategy and forecasting. Over the past 14 years at Sigma, Pankaj has contributed to Sigma Systems in roles within Professional Services, Sales and Sales Operations. Most recently, Gogia served as director Sales Operations & Strategy, a position in which he worked closely with the Sigma Systems executive team on planning, budgeting, and corporate strategy, while also working on sales development process, pricing and sales forecasting. Gogia recently completed his Executive MBA at the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University and Schulich School of Business at York University.

Mark Flynn
Associate Vice President (AVP), Services and Delivery
As Associate Vice President of Services and Delivery at Sigma Systems, Mr. Flynn oversees quality and delivery across the customer Solutions Development, the Project Control Office and Technical Support teams. Mr. Flynn is also responsible for Customer Knowledge Management & Training focused on creating tools and processes to better enable customers to fully leverage the capabilities of their platform investments in Sigma products. Mr. Flynn is a 12 year veteran of Sigma Systems and has worked in many areas of the business, most recently as Director of Technical Support. Prior to Sigma, he worked at AT&T Canada and Toys R Us Canada in various management positions. He studied in the Commerce program at Concordia University in Montreal.

Diwakar Natarajan
General Manager, Asia-Pacific Center of Excellence
Diwakar Natarajan is responsible for setting up and managing Sigma's Asia-Pacific Center of Excellence. He has over 30 years of experience in Information Technology with leading organizations in India, including the Tata Group of companies, the country's largest private sector group. Diwakar's background includes extensive experience in information systems development as well as enterprise solutions implementation and consulting services for large global organizations in the manufacturing and telecom sectors. He has also been engaged in the development and support of software products in application productivity, manufacturing and telecommunications. Diwakar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a Post-Graduate Diploma in information systems management from the Indian Institute of Management (Calcutta, India). |
