Sigma is pleased to present the following keynote speaker at the upcoming User Conference 2008.

Gary Kim

Gary Kim is Editor in Chief of IP Business, as well as ChannelVision magazines. He also is a regular contributor to TMC.net.

Mr. Kim has been an industry analyst, commentator and business development consultant for nearly 25 years. He recently was director of strategic research for Convergent Communications, an Englewood, Colorado based company active in both premises and wide area networking.

In addition to start-up experience with Fat Pipe and Convergent, he worked in a consulting role in the start-ups of CacheStream Corp., a streaming media software company, and Cable World, a cable TV publication.

He formerly (1996 to 1997) was editor of two telecom industry magazines, focusing on the competitive local (“X-Change”) and long distance (“Phone+”) industries. He also was concurrently president of Itibiti (“itty bitty”) Ventures, Inc., a market research firm specializing in the competitive local telecommunications industry, especially competitive local exchange carriers.

Mr. Kim's journalistic career also includes senior level management at several industry publications (Cable World, Multichannel News, Communications Engineering & Design). He also has written for Lightwave Journal, America's Network, Communications Technology, CableVision, Outside Plant and Telephony.
